Recently there has been a particular focus on plastic pollution. Plastic rubbish is responsible for the deaths of many kinds of marine life. Sadly some animals choke or starve due to ingesting plastic while others suffer due to the accumulation of small amounts of toxic chemicals. This pollution also affects terrestrial animals including humans due to contamination in drinking water. Small amounts of plastic can have effects similar to natural hormones in the body.

In order to promote awareness of this issue Impamark are launching the Happy Turtle brand. This logo reflects our move to a more environmentally friendly stance. Impamark is strengthening it’s own internal systems to reduce waste and will be actively focusing on more environmentally friendly products to assist you in promoting your own stand against pollution in the environment.

Among our products we have the Green and Good Range. These products are environmentally-friendly with products made from recycled, organic and biodegradable materials. We want to promote the use of products manufactured in a sustainable manner and products which can be reused or recycled rather than simply being thrown away. This is a great opportunity to join a small, dynamic, and long established Essex based company.

For over 40 years Impamark have supplied a huge range of products to an extremely diverse client base within the highly competitive field of promotional merchandise.

We are looking for an ambitious, highly organised, and talented Account Executive who can embrace the values that Impamark are renowned for – service and quality – and who can help maximise the potential business for the company from both new prospects and existing clients. New sales generation is an important part of this role, but you will also be managing and developing existing accounts.

You will be responsible for managing the client relationship throughout the production life cycle from concept to delivery, and providing a first class client service experience.

Although based from the office, it may be necessary to visit clients for face to face meetings when required. You will be expected to attend industry shows and meet suppliers to build product knowledge and keep abreast of new merchandise in the marketplace.

The pace of life at Impamark is fast, with rapidly-changing priorities, so you will need to be flexible, able to use your own initiative, and work without constant supervision.

Target-driven, customer-focused, and a fast learner with the ability to think creatively, you will need to be able to source products to meet customers’ requirements.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of five years sales experience with good computer skills and an understanding of contact management systems.

You will have a proven track record of providing the highest level of customer care and achieving your targets across all areas of responsibility.

An excellent telephone manner, previous experience of client account handling, working within a small team, and first class interpersonal skills are essential attributes.

You will need good time keeping and a disciplined and organised approach to your own work where attention to detail is vital. It will be important that the successful candidate can handle some of their own order processing.

Previous industry experience would be desirable.

As part of Promotional Products Week (PPWeek), Impamark will be holding a networking event on the 15^th of September. This event will be held at their offices at Dammerwick Farm in Burnham.

Local businessman Dan Hull will be giving a presentation on how his business has benefited from grants, and Innovations in Food.

Additionally, a raffle will be held in aid of Farleigh Hospice in memory of Impamark’s founder, David Thurgood, who sadly passed away in January this year.
