Having celebrated over 50 years as a family business, Impamark have supported several apprentices over the years, one of which is now a valued member of the team. In 2017, Holly joined us as a Business and Administration Apprentice. Since then, she has completed both her Level 2 & Level 3 and was awarded ACL’s ‘Apprentice of the Year’ in 2018 and ‘Highly Commended’ for the same category in 2019. It was at the same time, Impamark was awarded ‘Employer of the Year’. Since then, she has undertaken two industry qualifications (Trained in Promotional Merchandise and Certified in Promotional Merchandise).

             

With the support of Essex County Council’s Apprenticeship programme, the successful candidate will study for their Level 2 Customer Service or their Level 3 Business and Administration qualification (depending on experience with a start date between April – September). Alongside your studies, you’ll be assisting the sales team on a daily basis with general office duties such as:

  • Using company’s contact management system to keep client base, supplier base and products updated
  • Assisting with targetted client mail-outs (brochures/samples etc)
  • Sorting out incoming & outgoing post
  • Sending out catalogues, letters or samples
  • Answering the phone & sending emails when required
  • Heavy focus on social media
  • Speaking with new and existing clients
  • Attend customer table top exhibitions & trade shows with the sales team (if required)

Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to grow within the promotional merchandise industry with further training and qualifications!

As this is an apprenticeship vacancy, the minimum wage is currently £4.81 an hour. However, depending on experience and age, this is negotiable.

Impamark Christmas Shutdown 2021

Impamark will be closed from 1.00 p.m. on Thursday 23rd December until Tuesday 4th January at 09.00 a.m.
As 2021 draws to a close we reflect on yet another difficult year for us all. As in 2020, Impamark was open for business throughout the lockdowns and restrictions this year. We have continued to sell PPE, but are extremely pleased that our merchandise orders have come flooding back since July this year!

We would like to thank all our suppliers for their continued support during what has been extremely challenging times

 

 Impamark 2021 to 2022
Advantage Winner We started January with some fantastic news that we had been awarded ‘Commended’ in the Group Member of the Year Category 2020 for the Advantage Catalogue Group. This was an amazing boost for us all after such a tough year. So a huge thank you again to our friends at The Advantage Group and our fantastic suppliers for voting for us
As many of you may know this Summer we supported Farleigh Hospice with their £50 challenge.

They gave us £50 and we invested it by purchasing 10 trees from The National Trust. The trees have been planted by the Trust as part of its pledge to plant 20 million trees by 2030. We then raffled them in July and raised £1100 for Farleigh, which would not have been possible without the help from many of our suppliers which was enormously appreciated

It was wonderful to support both the hospice, and the National Trust, plus being able to give something back to the environment, and offer the winners the opportunity to commemorate someone special by planting a tree

We are not sending any festive gifts this year. We have chosen to donate to Crisis as no one should
be homeless and alone this Christmas. We hope that our donation will help with hot food and drinks
and a room for the night and offer some support from the devastation that homelessness brings

We are very pleased to be actively promoting sustainable and environmentally green merchandise where possible. These products enable you to make your own stand against pollution in our environment by reducing your own carbon footprint and helping to protect our planet for future generations

Please be aware that business is still not back to normal and stock availability and pricing has become extremely volatile due to hikes in raw materials across the board. Forward planning is key!

Chinese New Year The Tiger We would like to remind you that Chinese New Year, (CNY) is 1st February 2022 which will mean that orders for delivery pre CNY will need to be placed before the Christmas shutdown this year

Any orders placed after this date will not be delivered until the latter
part of February/March

We also need to advise that the Chinese government is implementing strict controls on the use of electricity, aimed at meeting both increasing demand and environmental regulations, but which are seriously affecting production and lead times at many factories in China

2022 marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and as with previous Royal Events , such as the Silver & Diamond Jubilees and HM 90th Birthday, Impamark will be providing an extensive range of commemorative gifts to celebrate this magnificent milestone
